At Scott, people are at the core of our business. We are committed to creating a culture where safety and wellbeing is paramount in everything we do. We encourage a positive work environment that is free from harm, where our people thrive, feel cared for, and look after each other.
We have well-established safety and wellbeing management systems and processes functioning actively in the workplace and fully supported by senior management. Our processes and documents are reviewed and audited on a regular basis as part of our continuous improvement program.
We take safety and wellbeing seriously and have dedicated safety coordinators and first aiders on every site, fully supported and well informed with the legislation and law changes.
We have an in-house competency-based training program that utilizes both in-house expertise and external certified trainers to ensure our staff are safe to operate in our workshop and on customer sites.
Safety & Wellbeing at Scott - Be Safe, Be Well, Be Scott
Having all Scott employees and contractors outworking our six core expectations is fundamental to upholding a high-performance safety culture and ensuring our people and yours remain safe and well. Safety is everybody’s responsibility; these expectations are what it means to Be Safe, Be Well, Be Scott.
All onsite contractors must complete the "Contractor Health and Safety Requirements and Information Form" and provide the information required prior to commencing work at any Scott site. Upon arrival to the site, you will be inducted by site safety coordinators. You will be added to the approved contractors’ list and will be subject to annual assessment to ensure hazards and risks are identified, eliminated or minimized.
