Chief Executive Officer
Mike joined Scott as CEO in late 2024, coming from Vanderlande B.V., a global leader in logistics automation, where he served as Global Executive Vice President of the Parcel segment starting in April 2021. In that role, Mike oversaw a team of approximately 2,000 FTEs and managed annual revenues exceeding NZ$800 million. He played a pivotal role in shaping Vanderlande's global market strategy and led growth initiatives focused on R&D technology roadmaps, global people development, and long-term customer service agreements, which contributed to sustained growth and market leadership.
Previously, Mike held several leadership positions at Vanderlande, including Managing Director for both the UK and Singapore, where he led significant transformations and achieved key milestones, such as securing the largest order in Vanderlande Airports’ history.
Mike is a Chartered Engineer, holds a Master of Science from the University of Glasgow, and is PMP Certified.
Chief Financial Officer
Mark O’Malley was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Scott Technology in January 2025. Mark is a highly experienced finance leader with a proven track record in commercial finance leadership, strategy, business planning, and performance management.
Prior to this role, Mark served as Co-Chief Financial Officer and Group Commercial Manager at Scott Technology and brought a wealth of experience from some of New Zealand’s leading listed companies, including Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Fletcher Building, and Auckland Airport. His expertise in risk management and business growth has consistently delivered measurable results and strengthened financial foundations across complex organizations.
Mark’s leadership at Scott Technology is expected to drive continued financial excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.
General Manager - People
As the General Manager - People, Hayley Hindmarsh is leading a range of impactful initiatives across culture, talent, and organisational development. She is a deeply experienced and trusted leader who consistently champions initiatives that strengthen our people and culture capability. Her leadership, commercial insight, and commitment to empowering Scott teams, and is key to driving our ‘Destination 2030’ strategy forward, especially as we focus on building high-performing teams, delivering customer-centric outcomes, maintaining leading edge technology and uniting globally as One Scott. Before joining Scott, Hayley held senior HR and operations roles at HR Your Way, Fairview Windows and Doors, Page HR, and Southern Cross Health Society. She brings a blend of commercial acumen, people-first leadership, and a passion for creating inclusive, high-performing workplace cultures.
President Materials Handling & Logistics
Aaron joined Scott in 2013 (then Alvey). Responsible for sales, engineering, operations and services in material handling, BladeStop and appliances for the European Market. Aaron was a key part and shareholder of the Alvey Group and joined Scott alongside the acquisition in 2018. During his time with Alvey, and now Scott, he has held many key positions within the company, including Project Manager, Head of PMA, Service Manager and Operations Manager. Aaron has a Master in Economics from the University of Leuven (BE).
Director of Transformation
Anthony Wesney was appointed Director of Transformation in January 2025, tasked with driving Scott Technology’s long-term strategic commercial growth plans and leading key business improvement initiatives.
Prior to this role, Anthony served as Interim Co-Chief Financial Officer at Scott Technology from April 2024. He joined Scott three years earlier, holding various senior leadership positions where he played a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and commercial direction.
With over 20 years of experience in senior financial and commercial leadership roles, Anthony has held key positions at Brand Developers Ltd, Sealord, and Pret A Manger. His proven track record includes delivering transformational business results, driving financial performance, and leading strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth.
General Manager - New Zealand
Andrew is responsible for the development and commercialisation of Scott’s meat processing technology. He has been actively involved in this technology since it started seven years ago and is responsible for developing the patented technology which is recognised as world-leading in the field. Andrew has over 30 years' experience in working with automated machinery for Scott Technology. Andrew is also a Director of Robotic Technologies Limited and NS Innovations Pty Limited.
Regional Director - China
Cathy joined Scott in 2007 and manages the operation of SSQ. Responsible for the sales, manufacturing and service of the sheet metal forming machine within China, and meanwhile providing the cost-saving parts and assembly for the Group.
Vice President of Sales – Global Protein
Mark Host joins bringing a proven track record of sales growth, market and product development, and team leadership. He has over 25 years of experience across multiple food processing categories where he has helped processors implement solutions to increase worker safety, improve processing yields, and grow profitability.
Mark comes to Scott from Pearson Packaging Systems, a market leader in secondary packaging and robotic automation, where he was the VP of Sales. Prior to that, Mark served as VP of Global Sales at Bettcher Industries, a global protein processing supplier, where he led the acceleration of the business, the launch of new products, and growing both direct and distributor markets. Mark has held additional commercial leadership roles at TOMRA Food and FOSS. Mark and his family reside in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
General Manager - Australia
Damian joined Scott Technology New Zealand as National Service Manager in November 2021.
Previously from Otis Elevator in Christchurch, Damian led the Christchurch earthquake construction projects team, providing leadership to several key infrastructure projects during the city’s rebuild.
With 30 years of service, operations, and construction management experience in several international markets across the office automation, vertical transport, and cellular phone industries, Damian has a proven track record in developing and leading high-performance teams that deliver operational and financial excellence while creating value-added, customer-centric solutions.
Damian now resides in Melbourne, Australia.
President - Mining
Werner Conradie leads Scott’s global Mining division since July 2025, overseeing Rocklabs, AETS, and Robofuel operations across multiple regions. He is responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and commercial performance across all mining-related products and services. After joining Scott Technology in July 2021 with a wealth of operational and leadership experience, Werner held the roles of General Manager of Rocklabs. He consistently supported global mining and mineral laboratories through advanced products and semi-automated solutions, including leading the development and successful deployment of the Automated Modular Solution (AMS) in Western Australia and Alaska. In an earlier role, he also played a key part in shaping Scott’s health and safety strategy as Group Health & Safety Manager. Prior to joining Scott, Werner held senior consulting and leadership roles at HSE Global, Pāmu Farms, and in operational roles in South Africa. He is known for cultivating inclusive, high-performance cultures while guiding strategic initiatives across multinational operations.
